An exciting and growing international manufacturing SME is looking to appoint to this newly created role. Reporting to the MD and leading a small team, they wish to recruit a qualified or experienced accountant who has the ability to impact business performance in a good all-round accountancy role.

If you think this sounds like you, then this could be your next role! ABPM are seeking a hands-on and engaged Accountant to hit the ground running to lead a team and collaborate with the MD in growing the business profitably.

Some of your responsibilities may include:

• Oversee, support and develop the team.
• Production of management accounts and sales analysis.
• Manage departmental and business budget setting.
• Cashflow management and forecasting.
• Manage and control inventory.
• Financial accounts, month-end processes and reconciliations.
• Provide financial analysis and guidance to support decision making.
• Process monthly payroll and carry out anomaly reports.
• Drive continuous improvements and best practice processes.
• HMRC and VAT returns.
• Ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

You should have achieved or hold the abilities within:

• Qualified or Experienced Accountant.
• Manufacturing background (ideal but not essential).
