Financial Controller

Are you a Financial Controller with experience producing Management Accounts beginning to end? Are you available to start immediately?

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant / Financial Controller to join a fast-paced finance team on a 6-month fixed-term maternity cover contract.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce full sets of management accounts for entities across the UK and Ireland
• Handle month-end procedures including journals for depreciation, accruals, prepayments, stock, and salaries
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Process VAT returns and manage intercompany recharges and reconciliations
• Provide financial analysis, including Sales vs Cost of Sales, and forecasted Group Gross Profit

Requirements:

• Proven experience in producing full sets of management accounts
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of VAT returns, multi-currency accounting, and financial reporting
• Ability to manage and review financial data for multiple entities
