Financial Analyst

Type: Permanent

Location: Scotland

Work Arrangement: Mostly Remote with occasional travel to offices in Glasgow and London

Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in the UK without the need for Sponsorship.

The role would be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and payment of SRN (Shared Rural Network) Grant payments - managing the entire grants/claim process.

We are looking for someone from a Telecoms | Mobile Operator background with an accounting/finance background and experience dealing with grants/claims.

Required Experience

• Good Finance and Accounting background
• Experience in Capex and Opex
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple work streams whilst achieving results through others.
• Knowledge of financial processes and instruments (e.g. accruals/prepayments, assets/liabilities, depreciation, etc.).
• Ability to coordinate, manage, problem solve, strategise, schedule, analyse, and plan.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite of programs - specifically Excel.
• Some knowledge of G Suite of applications (e.g. Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.).
• Knowledge of Sage accounting platform.
