Project Title: Financial Accounting (Contractor)

Duration: 4 months

Location: London

Status: Outside of IR35

Scope of Work

The Contractor will provide financial accounting services, supporting the Financial Control team in delivering accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with local and international statutory requirements. The Contractor will work both collaboratively with teams and independently, handling a range of financial accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting the team with the preparation and analysis of month-end accounts.
  2. Preparing and delivering monthly financial reporting packs, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements.
  3. Supporting weekly bank reconciliations.
  4. Preparation and submission of VAT returns to comply with statutory requirements.
  5. Supporting the team to complete year-end accounts.

What you will bring

You will provide specialism in the following areas:

  1. Proven experience in a similar role (around 3 years).
  2. Accuracy and attention to detail.
  3. Willingness to work independently and have ownership in your role.
  4. Experience in using Netsuite.
  5. Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
