Financial Accountant (Fully Remote)

VANRATH are delighted to be working in partnership with an innovative tech business based in Belfast City Centre to recruit a technically strong Financial Accountant to join the growing finance team based in their state of the art offices.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will have responsibility for financial reporting for a number of entities and would suit a technically strong accountant keen to join a fast paced international business.

About you

• Qualified accountant (ideally BIG 4 trained with 1-2 years PQE)
• Excellent Excel and systems experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deal with remote senior stakeholders

What you'll do

• Lead year-end audit and statutory reporting
• Assist with month-end reporting
• Manage & track capitalization of development time
• Provide guidance on technical accounting
• Work with various stakeholders to prepare and articulate movements in KPIs for monthly Board reports
• Assist with M&A projects and integration of new businesses
• Involvement in ad-hoc projects & analysis
