Join our vibrant and welcoming Finance team as a Financial Accountant, where you'll play a pivotal role in statutory reporting, taxation, and external audits. In this role, you'll take ownership of producing statutory accounts for entities within the Elior UK Group and act as a key liaison for the monthly submission of statutory information to the Group Elior France consolidation team. Be part of something extraordinary - apply now and grow with us!
What you'll be doing:
- Manage monthly statutory reporting, intercompany transactions, and coordinate the external audit process with Finance teams.
- Support production of statutory accounts, monitor balance sheets, and identify risks and trends across Elior UK entities.
- Report on Operating Working Capital variances and work with other functions to reduce balance sheet risk.
- Maintain accounting knowledge, pursue a professional qualification, and review VAT returns.
- Lead risk reviews, ensure compliance, and assist with corporation tax calculations.
- Oversee legal entity rationalisation and support ad hoc financial accounting projects.
What can you bring?
- Ideally worked with SAP.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of group accounting and intercompany transactions.
- VAT technical knowledge desirable.
- ACA/ACCA qualified +3 years PQE experience with strong technical accounting background.
- Experience in producing statutory accounts, preferably consolidated accounting knowledge and IFRS.
- Project Management skills.
