Financial Accountant

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team, based at our office in Slough. This is a temporary role for 24 months.

About the role

The role involves month-end activities, activities within the finance department, and providing financial analysis information for the accounting department.

On a day-to-day basis this is what you would be doing:

• Month-end activities - Journals, Report running, Reports completion, KPI data
• Accounts receivable, Accounts payable reports
• Assistance with Budgeting work
• Operational data provision
• Weekly BACS run
• Building and enhancement of Process notes
• Assistance with ad-hoc activities within the department

Who we are looking for?

• Holder of a finance / numerate degree, and an accounting qualification. ACA/ACCA/CIMA ideally.
• Excellent analytic, problem solving abilities and looking to continuously improve
• PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience in a similar role
