Job description

Are you looking for a Financial Accountant role with a London University?

Benefits include 30 days holidays + Christmas and 2 days at Easter.

The successful candidate will be CCAB qualified and have previous experience managing the financial accounting team within a complex organisation.

Day to day duties include:

  1. Management of the Financial Accounting team (2 qualified accountants)
  2. Preparing quarterly and annual accounts and other statutory returns
  3. Preparing cashflow forecasts
  4. Ensuring sufficient cash is available for operations and maximising returns on cash deposits
  5. Maintaining University asset register and assisting with evaluation and financial management of capital
  6. Preparing 5 year balance sheet projections for the University
  7. Assisting in the preparation of tax computations including VAT returns

Essential:

  1. CCAB qualified (or equivalent)
  2. Previous experience of producing statutory accounts and cash flow forecasts within a non-profit organisation
  3. Previous experience managing a team
