The role: You’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our finance systems. You’ll be responsible for maintaining data integrity across all accounting platforms, including our Financial Management System, Power BI, and Workday Adaptive. Your insights and expertise will help drive strategic decision-making across the business. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will join our team based at Mile End on an 18-month fixed term full-time contract.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and maintain finance systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support month-end processes and financial reporting.
  • Provide insights and analysis through financial data.
  • Work closely with finance and IT teams to optimise system performance.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance across all financial platforms.

About you!

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting or Commerce.
  • Experience across financial systems and data integrity.
  • Advanced computer software skills including Excel Macros and Financial ERP Systems.
  • Skills to perform a range of financial functions using Financial Management Systems, Power BI, and Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills are essential).
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively.
  • Technical accounting experience; an understanding of advanced accounting and reporting functions and processes.
  • Experience in identifying, analysing, implementing, and communicating improvements in financial processes and systems.
  • Passion to drive continuous improvement in business processes.

You will need:

  • A Police Check for working in Aged Care less than 12 months old at commencement.
