Financial Accountant

The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and should be ACCA/ACA/CIMA part-qualified or fully qualified, with a solid foundation in audit and accounting. A passion for continuous improvement and excellence within a high-performing, fast-paced Finance Team is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting a range of ad-hoc financial and reporting tasks as required
• Managing statutory and tax compliance for year-end reporting
• Acting as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors
• Preparing monthly financial reports for operational and divisional leaders
• Performing detailed variance analysis on financial performance
• Partnering with Audit, Finance, Production, and HR teams to ensure accurate reporting
• Preparing and gaining sign-off on balance sheet reconciliations

Experience & Qualifications:

• ACCA, ACA, or CIMA part-qualified or fully qualified
• Previous experience in statutory accounts, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
