Financial Accountant

Our well-established client is looking to strengthen their talented team even further with the addition of a Financial Accountant, on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be an experienced accountant who will support the finance team in its day-to-day operations, providing support to the Head of Finance and wider team.

Key responsibilities:

1. The successful Financial Accountant will be responsible for cashflow maintenance, forecasting, daily reconciliation, and reporting.
2. Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
3. Completing monthly management accounts including KPI reporting.
4. Oversee sales and purchase ledger management.
5. VAT and returns.
6. Credit control.
7. The successful Financial Accountant will be involved in year-end audits and tax computation preparation.

Key skills and experience:

1. The Financial Accountant will be an experienced accountant with a substantial level of experience within a similar role.
2. Ideally be newly or part qualified.
3. Strong systems and excel skills.
4. Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
