Amazon has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst, PMO to join our Accounting Technology Group. This position supports and directly influences the launches of Amazon Accounting's initiatives to support Amazon entities worldwide.

Key job responsibilities

1. Drive program objectives - provide program management and define project plans, manage implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support.
2. Define requirements and work with partner teams to design, implement and launch scalable solutions.
3. Design processes and procedures that scale with the business' growth in volume, complexity, and global geographic dispersion.
4. Communicate new/updated programs and processes to leaders, employees, and cross functional organizations.
5. Collaborate and build relationships with system and business owners globally to ensure process excellence and the highest degree of controllership.
6. Negotiate efficient and reliable processes and policies across partner teams to systematically eliminate dependencies and defects.
7. Work cross-organizationally and functionally to identify key opportunities in process, technical, and human interfaces and developing and implementing plans to capitalize on those opportunities and measure and monitor success and impacts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
2. Several years of finance or a related analytical field experience
3. Several years of program or project management experience
4. Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
5. Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
6. Experience managing accounting/finance process improvement and/or technology projects with aggressive schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Master's degree, or PMP
2. Experience supporting accounting/finance customers to set and effectively manage expectations, project deliverables, and drive resolution when conflicts or issues arise
3. Experience in finance projects, including requirement gathering and testing in environment with distributed systems
