Finance Systems Tester

Our client is looking for a Finance Systems Testing Specialist to support both testing and training activities within the Finance Systems team.

The role blends operational tasks with project-based work, focusing on system testing, user support, and change management.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth software adoption, improving user experience, and maximising system performance. You’ll manage test plans, automate testing processes, and deliver engaging training to new and existing users.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Finance Systems Team to align testing and training with project pipelines.
• Configure and manage automated testing tools to support change management and system reliability.
• Identify and resolve system issues in partnership with developers and third parties.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and scenarios.
• Deliver high-quality, tailored training sessions and learning materials.
• Keep documentation and training content up to date with system changes.
• Promote best practices for system use and process optimisation.
• Ensure consistent, scalable procedures through clear documentation.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with automation testing tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with COINS ERP or similar financial software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to design and deliver impactful training using structured frameworks.
• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and process mapping.
• Strong written and verbal communication tailored to various audiences.
• Innovative approach to learning and development delivery.

Qualifications

• ITIL Foundation v3/v4 – Preferred

You must be able to travel to site at least once per week.
