Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:

You will report directly to the Systems Accountant and work alongside a broad range of stakeholders across the finance function and operational teams to support the day-to-day running of the finance operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Updating roles and responsibilities within the systems as team members' roles change, new employees start, and individuals exit the business.
2. Reviewing and updating position hierarchy and user groups for new starters and leavers.
3. Reviewing system automated workflows and batch processes to identify and resolve issues.
4. Perform internal audit reviews to ensure controls in place are sufficient, identify control weaknesses where applicable and propose control improvements where necessary.
5. Perform UAT testing during system updates and upgrades.
6. Liaising directly with auditors to extract system data and supporting information to answer audit questions.
7. Provide 1st line support to all users and manage escalation of tickets to external support providers.
8. Undertake training where appropriate with new joiners/internal movers.
9. Updating & maintaining the finance training documents, reviewing and updating as and when new processes have been identified.
10. Data import from other source systems.
11. Responsibility for month-end system close.
12. Assist with maintaining data quality including data cleansing.
13. Ensure data consistency within and between systems/processes.
14. Support with system implementation projects where appropriate.

The current systems utilised by the group include:

• Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations (D365)
• Medius (Invoice processing)
• Webexpenses (employee expenses)
• Jedox (FP&A reporting tool)

Systems on pipeline for implementation:

• Treasury Management System GTreasury (TMS)

What are we looking for:

Essential – Technical:

1. Experience of working with or implementing D365 Finance & Operations, or earlier versions of the product.
2. Previous role within a system implementation project or held the position of Super User previously.
3. Analytical and enjoys interrogating systems and data.
4. Keen interest in systems and ensuring consistency of data.
5. Experience of Data Migration.
