SF Recruitment is currently working with a fantastic public sector organisation in the recruitment of a Finance Support Manager. The Finance Support Manager will take charge of an integral business unit to co-ordinate the service delivery of the support functions namely Finance, Business Administration and Estates, ensuring they are balanced and in alignment with the overall aims and objectives.
Key tasks:
Deliver an effective Business Administration Function with supervisory responsibility for the Business Support Officers.
Be responsible for the monitoring of existing and proposed spend on a regular and timely basis.
Provide daily tactical and operational financial advice and support, to include financial and non-financial monitoring and reporting of staffing contributions.
Act as the focal point for all internal and external financial audit issues.
Ensure that immediate and longer term financial implications are fully considered and provide regular updates to the Head of department.
Complete accurate and timely financial returns to external funding providers.
Identifying opportunities to enhance core capabilities and identify areas where further financial savings can be exploited.
