The role

Responsible for overseeing and providing guidance to the Business Services Team (WIPRO) during the TSA of the transition from Lendlease to Bovis across the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Master Data Management, Customer Service and Payroll functions ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements and policies and procedures.

Post TSA - Managing the transactional activities across the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Master Data Management, Customer Service and Payroll functions noting that this will be under a new ERP system.

Management of the day to day activities of the Finance Service Administrators and maintaining strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

What will you do

  • Monitor and enforce compliance of policies and procedures and contractual commitments, including Service Level Agreements and regional legislative requirements, and proactively identify and address non-compliance issues across the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Master Data Management, Customer Service and Payroll function.
  • Oversee escalated complaints and issues including liaising with the stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure all complaints are handled in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Review applicable documentation including supporting procedures across the functions & ensure these are kept up to date.
  • Support Process Owners to drive continuous process and system improvement initiatives across Finance Services Transaction functions and ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to increase networks and allow for exchange of information.
  • Mentor and support team members through training and feedback to encourage and develop internal capabilities and ensure that staff are adequately resourced to perform.
  • Support training requirements within the business and the Business Services Team.
  • Coordination of transactional activities remaining in the Finance Services Team including:

Accounts Receivable Administration:

  • Banking contact in respect of bank cheques, traces, dishonoured cheques.
  • Coordinate key stakeholder engagement and approvals for any required write offs and adjustments.
  • Oversee mail handling.

Accounts Payable Administration:

  • Review and approval of all supplier payments.
  • Banking contact in respect of stop payment requests and bank traces.
  • Coordination of legal notices including liaising with Business and Legal function to advise action to be undertaken.
  • Oversee mail handling.

Master Data Management:

  • Management of executed contracts including review to ensure compliance with terms and archiving of contracts.
  • Management of bank guarantees.
  • Credit card management including proactively identifying and raising non-compliance issues with Head of Finance Services, cardholder management and data upload management.
  • Coordination of regional reporting requirements, including Payments on Time Reporting.

Customer Service:

  • Escalation point for Wipro Customer Service Team for queries requiring business coordination during TSA.
  • Support business training requirements.

Payroll Administration:

  • Provide cover and support for the payroll manager as required, including review and approval of payroll payments to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, escalation of queries and liaison between the Regional HR Team and the Business Services Team.

General:

  • Monitor and report payment report statistics in line with government requirements.

You will bring

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Comprehensive experience in financial processing activities essential.
  • Experience in finance policy and procedures and / or shared services functions preferred.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through more complex issues, guide and coach others in the resolution of problems.
  • Experience with Oracle R12 or similar financial accounting systems.
  • Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Technical financial skills as required.
