The University of Salford’s Finance Department is responsible for the overall financial management of the institution and its subsidiaries. The department is made up of a team of 70 staff and provides a full range of financial services to the University. The Finance team work closely with Academic Units and Professional Services to maximise opportunities and ensure financial sustainability. As part of the University’s Finance Division, one Finance Officer role is based within the Academic & Commercial Finance team and the other in the Professional Services Finance team, with the main focus being to support the Assistant Management Accountant and Finance Managers in providing a high level of decision support in an environment of significant change.
