Job description

Our client seeks a Finance Officer / Bookkeeper to assist their team on a minimum contract of 4-months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain financial records and completion of financial reports.
  • Completion of management accounts and analysis.
  • Prepare financial statements in compliance with FRS 102.
  • Assist in the transfer of financial records to a new finance system.
  • Have an understanding and oversight of junior team member's tasks.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in financial software systems such as Sage and advanced Excel skills, including database creation for data import/export.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, management accounts, and budget variance analysis.
  • Familiar with FRS 102.
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment with ongoing changes to processes and system.
  • Good communication and investigative skills.
