Finance Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Officer to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and providing support in financial reporting. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a solid understanding of financial services.

Duties

1. Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
2. ACCA, CIMA, ACA full or part qualified (Basic level must be passed, e.g. ACCA (9 pass/13)).
3. Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or Workday.
4. Perform data entry tasks to update financial information and ensure accuracy in reports.
5. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
7. Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
8. Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
9. Utilise PeopleSoft for various financial operations as needed.
10. Degree in Accounting or Finance.
11. At least 3 years of experience in e-commerce finance.
12. Knowledge of cross-border financial management, VAT compliance, and international accounting standards.
13. Fluency in Mandarin and English to manage cross-border operations effectively (First language level, can understand dialect).

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably as a Finance Officer or similar position.
2. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Workday, or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
3. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial services.
4. Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to maintain accuracy in financial records.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
7. A relevant degree or professional qualification in finance or accounting is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £25,726.00-£26,969.00 per year
