Connaught Education is currently supporting a prestigious independent senior school and sixth form in appointing a Finance Officer on a full-time, permanent basis, with an immediate start for the right individual.

The school is a large coeducational independent senior school and sixth form, with an exceptional track record of results and some of the best facilities of any independent school in London. The appointed Finance Officer will manage the nominal and purchase ledgers, ensuring that all journals and invoices are processed promptly, accounts are reconciled, and payments are made accurately.

The successful Finance Officer will have the following qualifications:

1. Degree in accounting
2. Excellent financial knowledge
3. Part qualified or working towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
4. Significant experience of bookkeeping/management accounting, monitoring budgets, and setting/adhering to financial controls
