Job description

A consumer health, wellness, personal growth, FMCG client with Head Offices in London is seeking a Finance Manager HR Assistant to join their team.

This is a hybrid role that combines the best of Finance Operations and Human Resources, which could be a great career path to Operations Director and beyond.

This is an ideal role for someone looking to make a move from a small company to another small, yet rapidly growing company. You will be resourceful across finance, bookkeeping, and HR responsibilities. The role is 60% finance and 40% HR duties.

As the Finance Manager HR Assistant, you will:

  1. Keep bookkeeping and financial records sharp, manage accounts receivable, and track expenses with precision (e.g., Xero or similar).
  2. Provide weekly support for accounts receivable by monitoring outstanding invoices, reconciling payments, following up with sales reps and clients, and preparing AR performance reports.
  3. Liaise with external parties and internal colleagues (e.g., legal, payroll providers, regulatory bodies) to ensure compliance with all relevant HR regulations and standards.
  4. Ensure accuracy and stay ahead of regulations.
  5. Support reviews, guide development goals, and power recruitment efforts.
  6. Assist in the yearly review process by coordinating timelines, gathering relevant data, and providing insights into market salary averages and benchmarking.
  7. Support recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, managing communications, and maintaining up-to-date recruitment trackers.
We are looking for a Finance Manager HR Assistant with:
  1. Previous experience in finance admin, finance assistant roles.
  2. Understanding of bookkeeping and financial processes.
  3. Knowledge of payroll processes, HR compliance requirements.
  4. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  5. Exceptional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  7. Experience in recruitment and talent management is a plus.

In return, you will receive a salary of up to 50,000 plus excellent benefits.
