About the Business
An opportunity to be a Commercial Finance Manager for an international service company based in Birmingham Business Park who have lots of growth potential and really look after their employees.
The role itself mixes accounts production with business partnering. The industry is super interesting, and you will get 2-3 of your own entities to fully manage, both reporting wise and commercially.
Main Duties:
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to provide financial support for the UK business.
- Lead project planning and forecasting activities.
- Prepare month-end reports and carry out financial analyses.
- Ensure invoicing processes are accurate and up to date.
- Develop and monitor cash flow forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee the forecasting and tracking of fixed assets.
- Support the improvement and development of the ERP system.
- Take part in various ad-hoc financial projects.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed.
Location / Office / Culture
The role is hybrid with 2/3 days in the office based in Birmingham. The company operates from a modern office consisting of a strong team of 60+. The business is very flexible in its working patterns and, due to the current ongoing growth, offers great chances for progression.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- Some experience in ERP is helpful – but not essential
- Well-versed in commercial finance
- Good communication skills
- A commercially driven mindset
- Driving License
