Finance Manager Manufacturing

Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for a hands-on, strategic role within a dynamic and growing manufacturing business?

We re partnering with a well-established manufacturer in East Sussex, recently backed by private equity investment, to find a commercially minded Finance Manager to join their leadership team.

The Role:
This is a broad and influential position where you ll take full ownership of the financial function and play a pivotal role in shaping business strategy. You ll lead everything from day-to-day finance operations to forward-looking analysis and reporting, all while working closely with operational teams across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
  2. Deliver monthly and annual financial reporting
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial legislation
  4. Drive financial planning, profitability analysis, and cost control
  5. Oversee payroll, procurement, and invoicing processes
  6. Act as the key liaison for auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
  7. Manage finance systems and support wider business operations

What We re Looking For:

  1. Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or QBE
  2. Strong experience in manufacturing or production environments
  3. Advanced knowledge of Xero and Excel
  4. A proactive, analytical mindset with strong leadership skills
  5. Comfortable working closely with production, HR, and IT teams
