My client in the construction industry is seeking a Financial Accounts Manager as they grow their internal function and look to reduce outsourcing. The successful candidate will take charge of the accounting functions.
- General Ledger:
Maintain and reconcile entries, manage accounts, and resolve discrepancies. - Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements; liaise with auditors. - Accounts Payable/Receivable:
Oversee invoice processing, manage supplier relationships, and control customer accounts. - Tax Compliance:
Assist with tax returns and stay updated on legislation. - Internal Controls:
Implement and maintain controls, ensure policy compliance, and recommend improvements. - Budgeting/Forecasting:
Help prepare budgets, monitor performance, and provide financial analysis.
- Essential:
An Accounting Qualification or Qualification by experience. - Desirable:
Experience in construction.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Analyse client data for growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with teams to meet client expectations.
- Lead sales initiatives and manage client interactions using Salesforce.
- Communicate updates and deliver presentations to clients.
