Finance Manager

Our client, an international membership organisation, are seeking a qualified Management Accountant with knowledge of Norwegian accounting standards to join the team as a Finance Manager for a contract period of 6 months.

The role would suit a CIMA or ACCA qualified Finance professional with previous experience of working within a NGO or membership body. There is hybrid working with three days per month in their Central London office.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day finance function for the UK and Norway offices, overseeing the Accounts Payable function and responsible for Accounts Receivable including preparation of annual membership invoicing. In addition, you will be responsible for FX monitoring, VAT returns, maintaining the asset register, cash flow analysis, the preparation of monthly salary submissions for an external payroll consultancy and preparation of annual year end statements for audit.

You will need to be comfortable with transactional accounting work and also running some projects, including the implementation of new accounting software system.

To be suitable for this role you will be:

• Either ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Possess strong bookkeeping skills
• Knowledge of Norwegian accounting standards
• Ideally Norwegian language skills
• Advanced MS Excel

The contract is to start mid Jan. Inside IR35 £280 - £300p/d. Hybrid working - 3 days per month in the London office.
