Job Overview

As the Finance Manager, you'll manage all financial activities - from budgeting and invoicing to compliance and investor relations. You'll work directly with senior leadership to shape our financial strategy and ensure our operations meet regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support growth and fundraising.
2. Operational Finance: Oversee day-to-day functions including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and invoice management.
3. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (UK FCA, Canadian FINTRAC) and prepare for EMI licensing.
4. Reporting & Investor Relations: Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership and investors, and manage relationships with venture capital firms.

Required Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or similar is a plus).
2. 3-5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably in fintech or start-ups.
3. Proven expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and investor relations.
