Finance Manager

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced and driven Finance Manager to join our team.

As a Finance Controller, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing all financial aspects of the business.

Description

1. Oversee the financial operations for the business.
2. Manage a small Finance team of 3 people and offer support and guidance when necessary.
3. Develop and implement financial strategies and policies.
4. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports including profit & loss account, consolidated reporting pack, inventory depreciation report and inter company matching report.
5. Accounting for Fixed Assets, accruals and prepayments and inventory.
6. Sales/margin analysis and review.
7. Review of VAT returns, PAYE payments, P11'd's and other HMRC returns.
8. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
9. Analyse market trends to maximise profits and find expansion opportunities.
10. Full end to end management account packs.
11. Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
12. Collaborate with the management team to set budgets and financial objectives.

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

1. A degree in Finance, Accounting or a relevant field.
2. Part qualified or qualified by experience.
3. Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
4. Proficiency in financial software and databases.
5. Excellent analytic and decision-making abilities.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills.
7. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
8. Commitment to the highest standards of integrity and professional conduct.
9. Manufacturing experience preferred.
10. Must be proactive, well organised and be able to work unsupervised.
