Finance Manager

Manufacturing Group based in Gosport, Hampshire, has an opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to support with the day–to–day management of the Finance function.

What will the Interim Finance Manager role involve?

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the key responsibilities of the interim Finance Manager position will include:

1. Supporting the preparation of all statutory and corporate statements and returns within set deadlines;
2. Production of monthly management accounts and associated monthly reforecasting providing commentary on any variances;
3. Ensure that all internal controls and processes are in line with group standards and external requirements;
4. Management of finance team of 5 ensuring tasks are completed to set timescales.

Suitable Candidate for the Interim Finance Manager position:

1. Applicants for the position will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification with a proven track record of working successfully in a similar role where they have demonstrated strong reporting and financial control capabilities;
2. Detail–orientated with the ability to see and understand the strategic direction and larger, corporate picture;
3. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work effectively with non–finance individuals at all levels across various departments within the business;
4. Proven team leadership and development skills.
