Job description

Ashley Kate Finance are proud to be partnering with an established and growing manufacturing company, seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the business.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Completion of Monthly Management and Financial Accounting Activity
  2. Responsibility for preparation of the monthly management accounts
  3. Preparation of monthly sales and margin reports
  4. Preparing cash forecasts
  5. Preparing annual budgets and forecasts
  6. Managing annual audits
  7. Oversee Transactional Finance Team ensuring the timely management of Purchase, Sales Ledgers and Payroll
  8. Assisting in preparing monthly payroll, PAYE and Pension

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role within a finance department.
  2. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and processes.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivots, Look Ups, and advanced functions.
  4. Experience with Sage Accounting software (preferred).
  5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  6. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  8. A proactive approach to problem–solving and process improvement.
  9. Knowledge of VAT, payroll, and financial reporting standards.
