Part-Time Finance Manager, Edinburgh

Your new role

As the Finance Manager, you will be an integral part of the Senior Management Team, reporting directly to the General Manager. Your primary focus will be on the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the core business activities, specifically in relation to finance, membership, and events. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly management accounts, handling payroll, managing tax returns, supporting budget preparation, and maintaining financial records using Sage Line 50. You will also oversee membership databases, administer golf events, and ensure the security of all financial transactions.

What you'll need to succeed

  1. Proficiency in Sage Line 50
  2. Experience of preparing management accounts and handling payroll
  3. Knowledge of PAYE, VAT, and Corporation Tax returns
  4. Strong organisational and communication skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
