Finance Manager - Broad role - PE backed fast growth - Hybrid working - Cheltenham

The client

Hays Senior Finance are partnering with a multi-award-winning service sector organisation based on the outskirts of Cheltenham. This PE backed business was founded in 2009 and has grown significantly through acquisitions as well as organic growth.

The role

The Finance Manager with a focus on UK and Ireland will take on responsibility for delivery of aspects of financial control, internal process and financial reporting. The holder will be hands-on in their management, ensuring delivery as required by the monthly cycle and external requirements, alongside supporting improvements and efficiencies in the month-end processes and ways of working. The role will involve several process improvement and transformation activities as the finance function delivers on its transformation programme.

You..

  1. Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
  2. Proven ability to deliver monthly financial reporting.
  3. Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  4. Results driven with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-paced business.
  5. Strong IT skills; with "large" finance system experience.
  6. Finance transformation and change experience preferable.
  7. The ability to deliver change and improvement within a finance function.
