An established industry player is seeking a Finance Manager to lead their finance team and oversee back-office operations. This role requires a qualified professional or someone studying towards ACCA/ACA, with a strong work ethic and the ability to deliver high-quality service. The Finance Manager will manage a team of five, ensuring all accounts meet client SLAs and payroll deadlines while also preparing essential financial documents. Job description

Venture Recruitment are pleased to be partnered with a local business in their search for a Finance Manager to manage the finance team and run all back-office operations of the business.


This individual needs to be able to work in the outskirts of Chandler's Ford, 5 days a week.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Management of the team, 5 at present, ensuring all accounts are completed to clients SLA's, payroll deadlines are hit etc
  2. Ensure the team are upskilled to cover holidays and absences
  3. Help the team on completion of board packs, yearend accounts
  4. Working with the clients' accountants to produce year-end accounts
  5. Facilities management of the office
  6. Run 13-week cashflows for all clients and responsible for the banking of the clients
  7. Attend clients' meetings when required
Skills & Experience:
  1. Hard-working and driven personality
  2. Qualified, studying or QBE - ACCA/ACA
  3. A background in professional practice or within a recruitment business is preferred but non-essential.
  4. Ability to offer a personalised and high-quality service
  5. Ability to commute to the offices 5 days a week
