Finance (Inventory) Analyst

Global Accounting Network are partnering with a high-growth telco business in London. PE backed, they are driving a new wave of telco infrastructure across the UK.

The company are looking for interim to provide support as an Inventory Analyst, managing the end to end process of inventory reporting, reconciliations and the systems between finance and warehousing. We are ideally looking for someone with experience using Sage Intact from inventory module perspective.

Skills & Experience:

• Advanced Excel (V-lookups, Pivots) – large data manipulation
• Experience using SAGE Intact
• Understanding of finance and accounting processes
• Demonstrable experience within a similar inventory based position
• Reconcile inventory balances between the warehouse system and Sage Intacct.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances in inventory data.
• Oversee and manage inventory transfers between warehouse locations and update these movements in Sage Intacct.
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve the accuracy and efficiency of inventory cost tracking.
• Identify and recommend process improvements for data flow between the warehouse and accounting system.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes, specifically in relation to inventory balances and reporting.
• Liaise with the finance team to ensure accurate journal postings and reconciliation of inventory-related accounts.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across warehouse and Sage Intacct systems.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies relating to inventory management.
