Job Description - Finance Graduate (15411)

Description

29 years ago, easyJet broke the mould of the aviation industry, introducing low fares and making travel easy and affordable for everyone. Now it’s your turn to challenge the status quo and help us as we look to become Europe’s #1 airline and continue our push to Net Zero – ensuring that your career takes off in the process.

We aim to create the next generation of easyJet finance leaders through an accelerated three-year programme designed to give graduates unique exposure to a range of Finance functions and disciplines while studying towards an accountancy qualification. Working within a collaborative, inclusive and dynamic Finance team, graduates are able to thrive and grow their careers while making a real impact and contributing to easyJet’s success from day one.

You’ll then start three 12-month placements that give relevant, on-the-job experience across, but not limited to:

  1. Financial Control
  2. FP&A
  3. Tax
  4. Treasury
  5. Investor Relations and Strategy
  6. easyJet holidays

Your placements will be tailored to your areas of skill and interest and ensure you gain a unique insight into our exciting and dynamic industry, working cross-functionally and with senior stakeholders along the way. We’ll also support you through your studies towards the professional qualification of your choice (CIMA).

Requirements of the Role

What you need to join the programme

We are on the hunt for highly talented grads with the right combination of ‘can-do’ attitude, customer focus, business awareness and commercial acumen to help us to continue driving our business forward. You’ll relish working in a high pace, high energy environment, be innovative by nature and have a genuine desire to learn and grow.

You’ll hold a degree with a 2:1 or higher – it doesn’t need to be finance-related as long as you’re passionate about pursuing a career in this area – and have a head for numbers and analysis. You’ll also be a natural at building relationships and a great communicator.

What we are looking for? We’re looking for individuals with a passion for the aviation industry, travel and Finance. The airline industry is fast-paced, so we’re looking for people who like a challenge and can keep up with the constantly changing aviation environment.

Location & Hours of Work

This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time a month in the office.

What you’ll get in return

  4. 5% pension
  5. Life Assurance
  6. Flexible working environment
  7. Flexible benefits package
  8. Excellent staff travel benefits including discounts on flights and on easyJet Holidays
  9. Fully funded CIMA with flexible study leave
