Our client is a highly regarded, well-respected listed Global consulting firm focused on multi-competence transformational consulting into the Financial Services Sector. The business has experienced considerable growth year on year over the last 2 decades, through acquisition, service and client proposition development and a reputation for best-in-class client delivery. Within the UK and European Insurance sector, they have a very established CTO and COO advisory practice and are looking to recruit a number of individuals at Associate Director level to support the growth and further build out of their UK Finance Function Transformation practice focused on the G.I and specialty Insurance sector.
The roles are classic practice build leadership positions where you will be tasked to scale the existing consulting team at all levels, develop capability and competence of the existing team members and develop further the go-to-market proposition and solutions in line with the challenges that the CFO offices across the Insurance sector are facing now and in the future. You will take a lead role managing key client relationships, advising them on strategy, proposing and supporting appropriate solutions, negotiating engagements, dealing with any escalations, and ensuring seamless delivery that exceeds expectations. You will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance and inspiration to a number of direct and indirect reports, supporting their personal and professional development. The Transformation practice currently covers both strategy and implementation in the areas of Regulatory change compliance such as IFRS 17 as well as broader Finance Function change such as: Finance Target Operating Model Design, Improvements in accuracy and cost optimisation across P2P, R2R, O2C, FP&A, Systems Architecture, Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, and Data Analytics.
As mentioned, we are looking for a number of senior consulting professionals with extensive experience in Finance Transformation (CFO Advisory) consulting within the UK & European Insurance marketplace. You will need a proven track record in supporting the build of a CFO Advisory practice, an extensive network of clients and contacts, and an individual recognised in the industry as a trusted advisor. You will need excellent knowledge of the key technologies and systems involved in insurance finance including Actuarial models, ERP systems, Consolidation tools, Reporting/Analysis tools and data platforms as well as a full awareness and understanding of Insurance reporting standards, requirements and compliance. On a broader level, it is expected you have knowledge of Insurance Finance including leading practice reporting processes, controls and risks in addition to knowledge and understanding of key technology trends in Insurance including migration to Cloud, SaaS, Automation, and Big Data. You will be highly articulate, persuasive, and creative in thinking with a high level of attention to detail. You will need to be able to demonstrate that you have delivered truly quantified results on behalf of your clients within the context of very large-scale programmes. We are seeking individuals who are looking for full life cycle transformational project work and to that end you will need a high degree of commercial acumen and an ability to see things through.
