Job Title: Finance ERP Systems Manager – Oracle Fusion

Travelex is currently undertaking a large Finance Transformation programme where we are implementing Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM modules on the latest SAAS Cloud based technologies to replace all of our heritage applications and move our global finance teams to one end to end Oracle Cloud ERPM platform.
The successful candidate will act as a senior manager responsible for the administration, management and configuration of the ERP and Supporting Systems (Blackline). You will be involved in training, governance, testing, managing upgrades and new configurations, providing support covering the whole ERP system supported by our system support team in our offshore Shared Service Centre.
The role requires detailed knowledge and experience in the management, system support and configuration of Oracle Fusion applications ideally with some formal Oracle training, particularly knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA, PA, PO, AHCS modules.
Understanding of OCRMS, OICS would be beneficial.
This role will also play an important part in supporting the programme team managing the ongoing Finance Transformation as we complete further releases to our global locations onto the ERPM platform.
The role requires a good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and how that relates to accounting systems analysis and design in the Oracle Applications framework and the ability to translate that knowledge from business requirements to Oracle Fusion Applications.
Manage the Oracle Fusion ERP solution and associated Finance Systems team including on-shore/ off-shore working with our Finance Systems Support team in our Shared Service Centre.
Identify, recommend and implement Oracle Fusion ERP process improvements.
Ensure best practices related to Oracle Fusion are established in supporting necessary business rules.
Assist divisional users with the Data Integration maintenance and enhancements to data.
Maintain metadata, variables, workflows, process management and rules within Oracle Fusion as business requirements change.
Conduct setup and provide support for end user security, ongoing monitoring of the platform including integration and liaison.
Provide support for month-end, quarterly, and year-end tasks.
Provide support during and after User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including training new users, creating training materials and facilitating training sessions.
Liaison for internal and external auditors providing financial information requirements.
Troubleshoot Oracle ERP system issues.
Review Oracle upgrades and support in the testing and integration process.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and controls.
Create documentation for standard work processes.
Work supportively and collaboratively with the Finance Transformation Team, agreeing pre-ERP, and transitional system related activities. Understand and plan the operational impact changes to the ERP system including upstream impacts on the EPM platform.
Work with Oracle, PWC and our Finance Transformation Team to identify and support in the delivery of optimisation and implementation phases to the Oracle Fusion Platform.
Relevant tertiary level or professional qualifications.
Must have Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud Experience.
Significant hands-on experience of working as a Finance Systems Manager working with large-scale Finance IT systems within a comparable business environment.
A good understanding of core Finance processes and accountancy principles, acquired by working within a large (100+ FTE) Finance or IT Department.
Considerable experience of managing and fostering relationships with vendors.
Supported in a Finance systems role experience of ERP migration to Oracle Fusion and ideally has a sound knowledge of links to EPM including FCCS and PBCS would be beneficial.
