The Role & Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Finance Director - Innovative Additives & Ingredients (IAI)

Location: This role can be based in the UK or European Union with regular travel. European Hubs for AB Vista / IAI are in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Are you a dynamic finance leader ready to drive strategic growth and transformation? We are seeking a Finance Director to play a critical role in shaping our financial future. Partnering with the Managing Director and IAI and AB Vista Senior Leadership Teams, you will have the opportunity to influence key business decisions, champion financial excellence, and support our ambitious plans for sustainable international growth.

Reporting to the MD, with a dotted line to the CFO of AB Agri, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our strategy, ensuring robust business performance, and identifying new and improved ways of working. This is a unique opportunity to shape strategy, lead a high-performing finance team, and contribute to the success of a thriving, ambitious business. You’ll take charge of financial governance, provide strategic insights, and be at the forefront of business planning, mergers and acquisitions.

What you'll be doing:

1. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, creating a collaborative and supportive work environment.
2. Provide strategic financial input to the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring robust business planning and performance.
3. Oversee financial control and governance, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
4. Drive the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, supporting sustainable EBIT growth.
5. Champion business transformation, including strategic pricing, product profitability, and manufacturing optimisation.
6. Cultivate strong partnerships across IAI, AB Agri, and external stakeholders, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.

We’re looking for someone who:

1. Brings proven success in managing complex finance organisations.
2. Is a CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant (or equivalent) with experience in a Senior Leadership role.
3. Has proven success of leading strategic and operational financial transformation programmes to enhance sustainable EBIT(DA) Margin.
4. Can demonstrate proven success of partnering with Commercial leaders to improve strategic profitability of complex product portfolios in the market.
5. Is a strong leader who can inspire, challenge, and drive change.
6. Thrives on collaboration and building strategic relationships.
7. Has experience leading a global finance function ideally in ASPAC, EMEA and AMCAS.

This role has a mix of home and office-based work. Some international travel will be required.
