We are looking for an ambitious and results-orientated Finance Director to join a rapidly growing branded food business headquartered in Basingstoke.

Reporting to the Board, and as a key member of the Senior Leadership team, you will lead a small team (of 2), responsible for ensuring the proper and efficient management of the business’ financial systems. The Finance Director will also have involvement in the business’s commercial activities and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management and Reporting.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting.
3. Cash Flow Management.
4. Internal Controls and Compliance.
5. Financial Strategy and Planning.
6. Payroll.
7. Team Leadership and Development.
8. Day to day and strategic commercial interface with Sales, Marketing and NPD teams.

The Individual:

1. Proven experience as a Finance Director, or senior finance professional, gained in a manufacturing environment – ideally food but not essential.
2. Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management in a growing, fast-paced organisation.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
4. Hands-on approach with a willingness to dive into the details when necessary – we are looking for someone who is as comfortable delivering as they are delegating.
5. ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
6. Experience of working in a private/owner managed business would be an advantage but not essential.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a basic salary of circa £100K (dependant on skills and experience) plus Car Allowance, Laptop, Phone and a generous Performance Related Bonus.
