Finance Business Partner
Permanent
Based in Watford
£55,000 - £70,000 depending on experience

Robert Walters are pleased to be working with a successful organisation based in Hertfordshire who are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their FP&A and Business Partnering team. This is a full time, permanent role and is based in Watford with an option to work remotely two days a week.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing insightful and strategic advice and decision support to senior business leaders
  • Lead on financial matters within the directorate and senior management team
  • Identify and drive opportunities to improve current financial performance
  • Improve the understanding of business performance
  • Present monthly financial performance both within finance and to operational teams
  • Delivering analysis and insight on risks, cost trajectory and business opportunities
  • Provide options and scenarios for business decisions
  • Challenge and influence decision-making
  • Oversee month end process working with a dedicated management accountant ensuring costs are captured and variances understood
  • Working collaboratively with fellow Business Partners and developing and coaching management accountants and analysts
  • Maintain strong relationships with the relevant executive director and their senior teams
Candidate profile:
  • A qualified finance professional (ACCA/CIMA), with significant post qualification experience
  • Able to effectively communicate technical points to non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrable negotiation, relationship building, and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience of working in a regulatory environment
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and establish positive professional relationships across the organisation, able to adapt approach to achieve best outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence to challenge and influence
  • Highly proficient IT skills with ability to use Microsoft Office applications
  • Ideally from Retail or FMCG background
On Offer:

£55,000 - £70,000 and bonus and company specific benefits. There is also hybrid working.
