Job description

Blair West is supporting a leading global automotive manufacturer in the region as it looks to continue its growth plans with the acquisition of 2 qualified Finance Business Partners, reporting into the UK Plant Finance Manager.

The opportunity:

  1. Develop a deep understanding of program cost base, to constructively challenge spend with Operations and Support functions.
  2. Cost & margin analysis by budget–holder, for output to Senior leadership. Identify improvement areas and develop strategies to optimise cost performance.
  3. Support preparation of annual cost budgets and periodic forecasting.
  4. Cost benchmarking (internal and external) to optimise the total delivered cost across the product range.
  5. Business partnering with Operations to identify and deliver cost improvement initiatives.
  6. Additional job responsibilities to be discussed at interview.

You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

  1. An accountant qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), or QBE with significant experience.
  2. Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting.
  3. Experience in Manufacturing Finance desirable.
  4. Strong business partnering background, including engagement with Senior leadership.
  5. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively to non–financial stakeholders.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel.
  7. SAP experience is desirable.
