Job description

Finance Business Partner

Role: Finance Business Partner (Qualified Only)

Location: West Yorkshire (2-3/week on-site)

Salary: £50-60K + Benefits

Our client is an exciting group business with a variety of manufacturing businesses in its portfolio. They are looking for a strong business partner to join their team and provide a more cohesive approach to analysis and communication between their brands and work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders to help bridge that gap.

Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with regional operations teams across various sites / branches (Yorkshire and the North), providing insight and understanding to ensure the group meets its financial objectives
  2. Standardise and formalise processes as well as drive rigour across the national network
  3. Have a desire to dissect operational processes and propose KPIs to measure and drive productivity and make the right commercial decisions
  4. Regular reporting of financial performance and KPIs and associated commentary
  5. Ownership of budget process for the Region(s)
  6. Partner with branch managers on capital project approvals and reporting
  7. Provide assurance to the FD that revenue & costs are appropriately recognised and leakage is minimised
  8. Review period end close, identifying opportunities or risks that may appear
