We are seeking a Commercial Finance Business Partner to support our Business Directors and Finance teams in driving business performance through strategic insights, financial analysis, and reporting. Key Responsibilities

• Supporting Business Directors in launching actions aligned with our business strategy.
• Collaborating with Finance and Commercial Business Partners to enhance business performance.
• Identifying opportunities to improve channel business performance, including customer profitability, trading opportunities, and loyalty propositions.
• Providing analytics, commentary, and actionable insights to influence key business decisions.
• Managing financial targets, forecasts, and stretch goals to drive growth.
• Ensuring accurate and consistent financial reporting across divisions.
• Delivering insightful analysis to aid management understanding of channel performance.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning.
• Supporting branch P&L management and capex business cases.
• Monitoring financial and KPI performance, providing reports and recommendations.
• Collaborating with Finance teams to ensure accurate month-end accounts.
• Providing ad-hoc analysis and project support as required.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in a commercial finance environment.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
• Accounting qualification (desirable) but not essential.
• Experience in sales and margin trend reporting with actionable insights.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to go the extra mile to meet deadlines and ensure project completion.
• Ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders with clarity.
