Job description

Resourcery Group are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a relatively newly formed Business Partner team for a leading branded business in North Manchester. As the Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing financial support to several senior Execs, as well as leading the budgeting and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide financial support and insight to Exec level leader(s) and direct reports
  2. Lead the annual budgeting process and forecasting
  3. Chair meetings with senior leadership to review spend and highlight underlying issues
  4. Develop and produce relevant department reports and KPIs
  5. Own, govern, and appraise projects
  6. Support month-end reporting and capital spend forecasting
  7. Implement controls in line with the Group’s Financial controls programme
  8. Collaborate with internal and external audit teams as required
  9. Undertake ad hoc Finance tasks and project work as needed

Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant
  2. Experience in business partnering and providing data-driven insights
  3. Retail and Technology experience advantageous
  4. Strong communication and analytical skills
  5. High emotional intelligence and ability to form strong working relationships
  6. Advanced Excel skills, Oracle, TM1 experience advantageous
  7. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Day-to-day:

You will work closely with the senior leadership team, providing financial support, leading budgeting processes, and developing department reports and KPIs. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal and external audit teams, implement financial controls, and undertake ad hoc Finance tasks and project work as required.
