Are you a qualified Accountant looking for a new challenge? Come join this company through its period of growth where you will be responsible for the financial duties for the business and manage the performance of your team.

The purpose of the role is to oversee the financial performances of the business for the Colwick site. You will meet business needs by providing strategic financial guidance and supporting overall financial performance through business reviews, while managing a team and ensuring company requirements are met.

This company is one of the leading providers of Environmental and Sustainability solutions to a wide range of industries across the UK and Ireland. Primarily centred around Waste Management, they are expanding rapidly in the fields of Resource Recovery and Circular Economy, ensuring nothing truly goes to waste. They are leading key Ireland UK sustainability projects as they look to recycle more materials ranging from Metals, Plastics and Oil through to Hazardous Waste and identifying ways to utilise these to create clean energy and fully recycled products.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Review financial processes across Colwick and the wider business sites, providing best guidance and keeping to financial performance required of the business.
  • Perform financial forecasting through reviewing weekly forecasts covering revenue and costs and delivering month-end support of business month-end process of reviewing data, managing debts, and ensuring progress on invoice queries.
  • Perform reviews and continuous improvement practice duties to ensure to keep the ongoing standards of the business.
What We Are Looking For?
  • Strong experience in a similar finance position either qualified or part-qualified.
  • Previous experience communicating financial improvements to the wider business and creating the data to implement business change.
  • Fully Qualified Accountant (AAT, SIMA, ICAEW or equivalent experience, QBE).
