Finance Business Partner
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Location: Manchester

About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic and well-established organisation in Manchester. This key role will be instrumental in providing financial analysis and commercial insights to support decision-making at a senior level. You'll work closely with the management team, guiding them on financial matters and ensuring robust financial planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide high-quality management information (MI) and detailed financial analysis to support operational decision-making.
  2. Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems, driving efficiency and control.
  3. Attend senior management meetings, actively contributing to financial strategy discussions.
  4. Lead monthly financial meetings with department heads to review performance, forecasts, and budgets.
  5. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, reforecasts, and monthly business review packs.
  6. Manage month-end journals and event settlements, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
  7. Conduct ROI analysis on capital projects and advise on the financial impact of key initiatives, especially premium and hospitality products.
  8. Ensure compliance with audit processes and maintain accurate financial records.
  9. Contribute to the overall financial planning process, identifying opportunities for improved financial performance.

About You:

We are ideally looking for a qualified ACA, CIMA, or ACCA professional with post-qualification experience. You will have:
  1. Strong management experience and the ability to engage with senior leadership.
  2. A proven track record in implementing process improvements and change management.
  3. Expertise in financial systems, controls, and reporting.
  4. Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and ideally macros.
