The role:

As the Rostro Group builds its existing lines of business and expands into new business units, the Finance Business Partner will play a vital role in enabling growth and will bridge the gap between finance and the commercial departments within the organisation. A key part of the role will entail collaboration with stakeholders from various business units to comprehend their needs and deliver financial insights. Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with senior managers, implementing changes, and supporting strategic decision making. Track and evaluate the financial performance of different business units, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

How you can make a difference:

  1. Work alongside the business unit providing true partnership.
  2. Enable the business unit to deliver on performance, while maintaining budget allocations.
  3. Proactively work with the business unit and operational finance to deliver results.
  4. Analyse financial reports, gather data, and update key stakeholders.
  5. Lead data-driven decision-making initiatives utilising Business Intelligence tools and reporting.
  6. Automate processes by leveraging existing systems.
  7. Review and enhance monthly reporting on commercial metrics.
  8. Lead the annual budgeting process and half-yearly reforecast for the respective business unit.
  9. Align business unit strategy with the company's long-term strategy.
  10. Work alongside the FP&A team to assist in developing the company's medium to long-term financial and strategic plan by providing essential analysis on KPIs.
  11. Assist with daily consolidated reporting on an ad-hoc basis.

Education & Experience:

  1. Part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  2. At least 3 years' work experience within the financial services industry, ideally in a Finance Business Partner role.
  3. Advanced Excel skills.
  4. Experience with Business Intelligence tool is a plus (e.g., Power BI).
