Are you looking to develop your financial administration skills and witness first-hand how the Borough Council delivers its services and ambitious projects? The Council are recruiting to a role that provides support and assistance for its Finance Team, with a focus on the areas of VAT returns, Insurance, budget monitoring, and financial system maintenance and reporting.
There will be a strong emphasis on support service managers through business partnering. Working with other Finance Business Partners and Finance Service managers, you will provide financial insights and support for financial planning and reporting as well as budget preparation and monitoring.
You will be educated to A level standard, together with a relevant financial qualification at AAT or equivalent with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar working environment, including working knowledge of coordinating and leading activities involving multi-agency partners. You will have excellent communication skills with a methodical approach to working and good time management, including the ability to remain accurate while working to deadlines.
