Finance Business Partner

We are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner for our local government client based in Essex on an initial 6 month contract paying £450–£600 per day inside IR35.

This role requires 2–3 days per week in the office.

The successful candidate will possess proven experience with the following:

• Local government finance
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Revenue and capital monitoring
• CIPFA / regulatory compliance
• Financial modelling and Excel skills
• Service reviews and business case support

This role involves working closely with senior managers, offering financial insight, challenge, and guidance.

Requirements

The Finance Business Partner will have a proven track record with the following:

• CCAB / CIMA
• Stakeholder Management
• Financial performance management, pricing, investment analysis

The Finance Business Partner role salary pays up to £45,750 depending on experience plus great benefits.
