Job description

A leading retail business in Leicester is looking for an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic team. This is a great opportunity for a finance professional with a commercial mindset to shape key business decisions and provide strategic financial insight across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as the key finance business partner for a range of regional teams, providing financial advice and decision-making support.
2. Manage and report on P&L for the regions, ensuring profitability and guiding non-finance teams with financial insights.
3. Work closely with the estates and shop fitting teams, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting key business decisions.
4. Provide high-level financial reporting, analysis, and advice to help drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements:

1. Experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role, ideally managing P&L and advising non-finance stakeholders.
2. Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
3. Strong Excel skills; experience with Power BI is desirable but not essential.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships.
5. High organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
6. Strong commercial mindset, able to drive financial performance and support business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
7. Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making across regions.

Benefits:

1. Salary between £52,000 - £60,000.
