The Company

Our established manufacturing client is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner. They have a passionate commitment to innovation, investment in new products, technology and skills, which together with their flexibility to respond rapidly to changing customer needs has made them a UK market leader.

The Role

Working with the Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for supporting stakeholders across finance, operations and commercial. You will play a key part in advising on performance against budget to help non-finance stakeholders maximise profit and provide support on investment appraisals and scenario analysis tracking spend and ensuring robust forecasts. You will partner with non-finance stakeholders reviewing capex projects to ensure ROI, providing data driven decision support to ensure adherence to 3-5 year plans.

The Person

This role is high profile and liaises closely with a diverse range of stakeholders so we are looking for an ambitious, confident character, professional in their approach with excellent communication skills. You will lead from the front and not be afraid to challenge the numbers or the decision-making process. You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) or nearing completion of your exams with advanced Excel skills, strong financial modelling skills and ERP knowledge. Working in manufacturing is a must.
